SPOTLIGHTED ARTISTS:

Thank you Jazz Network and Thank you Jaijai for the beautiful feature on me and my upcoming CD!

Jaijai I admire you for being on the cutting edge of what is really happening in Jazz and how to get it out to the people who love it. Thanks for creating such a cool forum as this...I'm honored to be apart of it. I love your sensitivity in recognizing and celebrating the little things... the details of what make us all different as musicians with individual styles.

Thanks again Jaijai.... and thanks to all you Jazz Networkers..... !

Peace!

Dear Jaijai,

I am truly Humbled and honored to be the featured artist of the week on The Jazz Network. Thank you!
I have been singing for as long as I remember and this has been an absolute thrill to have an amazing woman of jazz like yourself lift me, free me and accept me to be all I can be!
DREAM BIG! That is my new Motto!
I have waited so many years to record my project.
You have given me an amazing portal to be heard.

I have had so many nice comments and made many new friends because of your generosity and belief in me! This is yet another example of why your amazing vision, Labor of love, Huge heart, Talent, and Spirit is a blessing to all who are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community of endless talent, dreams, and possibilities!

You are and continue to be a blessing to us all!
I can honestly say I have never heard as much talent as I hear here everday!
I shall spread the word, the joy and the music to many more as we all continue our journeys!

You are an angel sent to me! I know The almighty Father, and my Mother and Father sent you my way!

With deep appreciation and admiration,
Love & Music,
Peggie Perkins

Dear Jaijai:

What a wonderful thing you have created here and thanks so much for the fabulous feature you did for my music and me. As I am new to TJN I am fascinated by what you have created. There are so many talented artists here and it feels like I’ve gone to heaven. Your father and I were close friends over the years and Duffy still is. He played in my trio at Arturo’s in Miami Beach last summer. (2007) And I have worked with him off and on since he was 12 years old. I just know your father is very proud of you and the site is a work of art! You have created something of real value for the jazz community and all I can say is Bravo!

Jaijai,

Too few opportunities to truly connect with other musicians and artists, too few opportunities to have my wellspring of creativity refilled with encouragement and support by peers and people who appreciate the struggle and the need by peers who understand the intensity of the journey,
the cost of the effort and the joy of the result. It was with a lack of enthusiasm, a weariness and more than a little trepidation that I
wandered into the Jazz Network and what wonders there awaited my muse and my spirit. Thanks to the incredible people who inhabit this network, I have been restored and reenergized. I have been entertained by their music, challenged to rise to greater heights because of the standards they set for themselves and cheered on by their support and friendship.

And you, dear lady, do your father proud both as a member of the music community but also as an individual member of the human race. You are the universe's gift to me and I cherish the friendship!!

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums.
A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us.
I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!

I feel that what you have started here at The Jazz Network set's the tone for serious networking amongst musicians who have had no choice but to take that independent path in order to be heard and generally acknowledged for who they are and what they bring to the art form. It's great to be in touch with many of my peers whom I admire but rarely get the chance to connect with. I also get the feeling that Jazz Network could be that missing link between the personal web site and all encompassing "data base umbrella". I think it's worth the investment in time and effort to touch base with the serious minded over here so let's all work to build a positive foundation on what has already been established.

So here it is! Finally a place where no matter who I pull up and give a listen I'm never ever put off or want to click it away. I believe you have really thought very carefully about keeping it real, as it were, and not just trying to gain meaningless quantity.

The artists I've encountered have been so talented and accomplished, that I wonder what I'm doing in their company. But when I reach into the music of my fellow Jazz Networkers, I find that we share the wonderful gift of commonality and originality that far surpasses the other music sites I've connected with. I know now The Jazz Network is a long awaited breath of very fresh air!

Thanks loads Jaijai.

What a privilege to have been a featured artist on the main page of The Jazz Network. I can’t thank you enough, Jaijai, for suggesting it and creating the opportunity. So often in our musical lives we are solitary beings, practicing alone, writing alone. But The Jazz Network is an affirmation of our community and our togetherness in the music. What a great opportunity to reach out and meet new people who have the same passion and dedication. Thank you Jaijai, for all you are doing to support the independent jazz musician and our wonderful art form…JAZZ. You have a powerful vision and it is touching us all. It is great to be a part of The Jazz Network. I will continue to spread the word.

All the best,
Sunny Wilkinson

"It was a pleasure to be featured on the Jazz Network Main Page. This Network is a unique forward step for independence, contact and conversation between artist, promoters/agents and fans.

Thank you Jaijai for offering a professional meeting place. I've met new musicians and rediscovered old friends I haven't seen or heard from in years. May we all continue to expand this network.
