- Performing contemporary to classical music, my career has spanned from North America to Asia. Talents include composing lyrics and vocal arrangements for commercial jingles such as Nescafe, Acuve, Sony Vaio, Nestea and Kirin Fire Coffee, featuring Stevie Wonder and Pokeman TV series. Other recordings and or compositions include projects for Dancemania, Bass Patrol, teaching vocal workshops, writting lyrics, vocal arrangements and touring with Japanese artist such as Morning Musume, TRF, Max, Japanese Soul Legend Masayuki Suzuki and Tekeshi Nakatsuka, to name a few. I've also performed with legendary musicians including Cab Calloway, Theodore Marcus "Teddy" Edwards, Larry Von Nash, Carl Burnett, Roy Hargrove, George Clinton, Bernard Wright and the late Robert Palmer.
I've recently returned to the USA from opening the Ritz Carlton in Tokyo Midtown. Now that I'm back home ONE of my goals is to record projects of "Standards" with a new fresh modern sound. I am and want to continue connecting with talented musicians that feel these type projects are important. A part of my music path is to continue the art of vocal expression with the soul of our fathers reaching the hearts and minds of our youth. I love the range of styles you offer your listeners - all great stuff too!
I also have a connection to Japan, although I've never been there. My grandparents were married in Tokyo, and my father was born in Yokosuka. Maybe someday I'll get a chance to visit that part of the world.
