- I was born and raised in Indianapolis Indiana, I am a trombonist , composer that went to High School and later on played with Freddie Hubbard. I now have my own group and play with other groups in the greater Los Angeles area including the Luckman Jazz Orchestra. In the recent past , I conducted a series of Jazz Appreciation workshops that paid homage to Los Angeles jazz legends like Melba Liston, Dexter Gordon, Hampton Hawes , Charles Mingus, and Eric Dolphy .

If we look back at our Village Elders one sees how they worked together to achieve and be innovative, and thanks to Jaijai and thejazznetwork.ning we are able to continue on the same path as our Village Elders.
